Once upon a time in China were there were no rivers but there were four dragons that lived in the sea. One was a black dragon with scales as black as coal. The other dragon was a yellow dragon as yellow as heavens light. Other dragon was the long dragon, as long as the great wall and its mane as wild as fire. The last dragon is the pearl dragon and is as shiny as a diamond in the summer day shine.
The four dragons flow across the dead grass of China and see a small village. The villagers were begging for water, praying for it to rain so they don’t dehydrate. So the four dragons went to the palace of the Rain God. The four dragons went into the palace and while looking for the emperor they came across a lovely green lush garden, but then they found
the emperor. The dragon said “You need to make it rain so the village people don't die.”
“Ok” said the emperor.
‘’I Will make it rain in a few weeks’’.
Days and weeks past, “No rain has come,” said the dragons to themselves. The village people will be so thirsty and hungry, what can we do to make it rain? The dragon's were thinking of an idea, then they had one. They could get some water from the sea and spray it into the clouds. They got the water in their mouth and spayed it into the the high clouds. The dragons have given water to all people in China. The village people are so happy now since they have water and rain, and now they can eat and get their crops to grow.
The emperor was not happy with the dragons. So he got his guards to get the dragons. When the dragons were at his palace he said “You have dishonoured me by giving the people water so i will banish you under mountains”. When they were under the mountains they were talking to each other they said they did not regret what they did to help the people. They did one more thing to help China through their water struggle, they turned themselves into the four main rivers of China.
